Drain the oil and gas every , after storage = piece of mind.
Isn't this the same topic as "How much is to much" ...
[&:]I'd say you're wasting your money. But that's my opinion & we all know about opinions. I'm still on the original 8 yo battery, which has never seen a battery tender & which has also set for more than a month or two without being started up in those 8 years.Use someStabile or the HD or other version of fuel winterizer, andthe fuel will be fine. I do agree that the oil should be changed at theendof the riding seasonso the contaminates are not sitting there all winter long. I change my tiresas I wear'em out.
Drain the gas every year? Why not just put Sta-Bil in it.....much easier and the gas is just like brand new....
Gas and battery every year is crazy....Tires every year is insane. If you like wasting money though, everyone is entitled to their opinion and can spend how they please.
At15K miles/year, NOT changing the tires every year WOULD be Insane.
It isn't the gas or oil that I worry about , it is water .
The battery , I have a 2006 this time , and extra lights. It is 2008 ...
I do not like sitting on the side of the road.
