Default Baffles Installed

I installed Thunder Monster baffles in my drag pipes this evening. I also got the title transfered today. So now I have a licence plate. I wont have to feel like such a 1%er when I'm puttin' around the hills and hollows. My rear brake linkage in still rubbing the front exhaust pipe in the bend. not as bad but it's not right.

Is the exhaust installed correctly or is your brake lever bent? If your exhaust isn't installed correctly you could have an exhaust leak and thats not good for the motor. It is always best to loosen your header bolts, your exhaust mount bolts, get it in the right position and tighten bolts a little at a time until its all snugged up.

The thing is the forward control peg and the pipe are so close together that there isn't enough clarence right at the bend of the pipe.
I did grind off a sharp corner off the end of the linkage arm thinking that would take care of it. Now it just touches when applying the brake rather than scraping as before. I think it got the pipe back on correctly. I was very careful.
