S&S performance kit

S&S performance kit
I want to make some changes to my 05 883C has anyone tried thr S&S performace kit mufflers, air cleaner and jets? You think there would be any advantage to this as apposed doing the same thing with SE parts?

It depends on who you ask and what your goal is. My two cents: Short answer is no....and yes.
"NO" because you can get a SE AC, mufflers, and the jet kit for less money. You can save even more if you use something other than SE parts. There are a lot of good mufflers and air cleaners out there - a flavor and price point for everyone. Performance is good too. For example, I did the SE AC for $120, Cycle Shack mufflers for $125, and jets for $10. I did the wrenching myself and saved on labor costs. It runs great - no complaints.
"YES" because its one stop shopping for you. It's a matched set so no guesswork of compatibility or fit. S&S has a good rep and their parts will make your bike look and run great. Honestly, the only thing that kept me from buying a kit like this for my bike was cost.
