Next week I'm ripping the Sportie apart to do some work on it.
* replacing the crap DunFlops with Pirelli sport bias tires
* rebuilding front forks with:
** Racetech Gold valves
** Racetech springs
** new black-powder-coated sliders for dual disc brakes
* full dual-disc front brakes
* Progressive HD shocks on the rear
I'll snap a few pics along the way while doing the work. Looking forward to the differences. I was going to go with a full Traxxion rebuild on the forks but it's just not in the bedget
sounds like fun [8D]
I'd like to put dual disc on mine too
I can send you part number list if you like. I got everything from Chicago Harley and saved a metric ****-ton of cash over local guys.
Oh, and they're pretty good to deal with if you have the part numbers. It took quite a bit of time and cajoling to get them to help me with tracking down a part number for one particular piece.
