Depends if you like the side rails or not, personally I think they look to bulky, check out the Haulen *** Website

I like that. Anyone ever tried one? I'm wondering how sturdy it is. Looking at the info on the site, it looks like a substantial bracket made from a decent thickness metal. Anyone?
Yeah, I run a HaulenAss sissy bar. My scoot is even on their website under the customer pics,( the bronze pearl sporty). I bought it so the GF, (at the time), wouldn't feel like she was going to slide off, and I didn't want something covering up the sides of the fender. It's very sturdy, and is easy on/off. It mounts through the two holes on the fender that you mount the seats to.

I agree, detachables are the way to go. I have a short one, as seen in my avatr, and a tall one for 2-up. also have a mustang touring seat for 2-up. can swicht then out in 5 to 10 minutes without hurrying. gives me more options for what type of ride I'm doing. I>E> long solo, or 2-up, short solo Etc.....and yes the tall is great for straping bags and sh@t to/ on.

I believe I got a medium low because that was the only way I could get a non-detatchable. It isn't too big or gawdy imo and it offers the passenger security and comfort. Also I have one of those Harley day bags that goes over the bar and then buckles around the turn signals arms. Works good and you can hang it backwards without a rack but mine blocks the license. My dad didn't but he had the low I believe.

you can use non detachable sideplates with any size bars. Its just a pain to change the bars out, you have to unscrew the 4 allens.

AWESOME! I always like to hear real world opinions instead of marketing. Makes me feel more confident. I think I may give it a try.
