Anyone have this? http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/cta...emnumber=94121
Been thinking about buying one. I know the bike Jacks from sears would work fine, but I don't like sitting on a bucket or kneeling on my knees while working. (I'm a spoiled ex auto-tech who still has access to an automotive lift)
Just wanted to hear any feedback.
Thanks
Elliot
I don't know for how well they work but at the Harbor Frieght by my house the manager put his Gold Wing up on the one in the store for display. They also have it for sale in store for $299.00
Elliot, I haven't used one but I have read comments about them in other sections of the hdforums. Since the search function doesn't work, try this. Go to Google and enter this in the search bar. "harbor freight lift" site:hdforums.com It will give you a number of hits.

The tire clamp is a bit light duty. Otherwise, it works fine.
Elliot, FYI - I've tried to send you a PM a couple of times but it looks like your account (Yahoo) sees incomming messages from HDF as spam and rejects them. Here's the info you wanted on PIAA's
Been considering getting a jack, myself. Stumbled across this site: http://www.discountramps.com/motorcycle-lifts.htm Thought it might be useful to you or others...
At the very least, it's fodder for the informed consumer.
Trash-
Looks good in the picture... have not seen one in person.
I have the yellow Craftsman and I know what ya mean about the bucket thing. Though gotta admit, heck of allot better sitting on a bucket than the ground!
Let us know how it works if ya pick one up.
Yeah lookin to get one when the "ecomonic stimulus payment" comes from the IRSaroundMay. I'll be sure to filly'all in whenI get it.
I have seen the cheaper versionthat isa manual lift(using your foot) and it looks to be ok for home use but the rear panel doesn't drop out for rear tire changes like the one I listed above seems to do.That is the main reason I like the one for around $400 besides the wheel chock looks to be much nicer than the $279 manual lift table.
cHarley,
Thanks for the info but the links don't seem to work for me. As far as the PM's I can get PM's through the HDForums system but cannot getemails. My email provider always blocks them. [:@]
