European frame mount 883 models reach 100 mph.
I think US and EC models don't have the same ratios.

i had mine up to 113, while i feel it had more to go i really didnt want to push my luck. the bike wasnt redlined but it was working pretty hard, this was on a straght highway at 4 in the morning. i backed off when my exit was coming up. i havent gone over 80 since then, brian

I had my 1200 with Stage 1 up to 180 km/hr which works out to about 112 mi/hr. I don't know if I could've gotten a little more out of it...the speed wobble set in and I backed off.

Your speedo was probably also giving you another 3 or so mph...

I though those sporty Evos reved past 6k...

I've had mine up to 95mph but never went beyond that. I know I could have pushed it a bit morebut I didn't feel like being road chowder.

On my 06 883L I cruise on the e-way regular at 70-80mph. Most out of it with purpose: alittle over a 100mph but, not absolutly sure because of need to keep eyes on the road(wind, vibration, speed, nerve's, etc.). That was with a windshield. I weigh 180#. She'll run. No doubt about it.

Eh, if I want to go fast I drive my Subaru GT 0-60 in 5secs, had it up around 150mph.

The bike is for chillin.

100 was top end (at least, my self-imposed) limit. Plenty fast, and it was a one-time deal.

Now, 75 is fast enough on our 70 mph freeways.
