Default Clutch Question

II put in new handlebars and changed clutch cable. I rode the bike for two days now, everything works fine, except clutch cable feels hard. It's adjusted the way it should be at the controls lever (I even took it to the dealership to check it), but I think it was easier to disengage before. I don't think they checked the screw inside the primary. The manual states to turn the screw all the way until I feel the tension, then turn back 1/4 turn. My question is - would turning back 1/2 turn make the clutch easier to disengage?

P.S. There is about 1/8 inch play at the clutch lever - so problem is not there.

thanks

Default RE: Clutch Question

No, turning the screw out more will not make it pull easier. Make sure there are no kinks or sharp bends in the cable.
