Default HD security system install question

Does anyone know where the antenna module installs on the factory system? The service manual covers where the main module installs but not where to install the antenna![:@]

Mine has a factory install security system. I was told to point the fob at the left switch housing on the handle bars, horn, hi/low beam housing. Not sure where it suppose to be on a sportster, should be the same though.

Assuming you are refering to the antenae wire for the siren/pager, it goes on top of the left tube on the lower frame. Mine stops at the forward controls and is held in place by being between a velcro sheet glued to the frame and another laying over it. My directions suggested the antenae wire should not directly contact the metal frame.

I should have been more specific.. this is on the 2007+ model smart security system. There is a four pin connection harness that is about 12" long, itis connectedto the antenna which is 2" long x 1 diameter block. The factory manual give no specifics to the mounting of theantennanor do theinstructions that came with it.

Got mine programmed and it starts with or without the fob and the security system never arms (key light flashing). May have to have HD program it.

Been there done that! No luck however before I programed the fob the bike would start then die just like the link states and Now it's like I never installed the alarm Let me know how you work out the kinks so I can follow in your foot steps.
