Default newbie question

OK being new to this motorcycle thing now. I have a question. What is the difference between the 883 and the 883 custom?

Bigger tank and forward controls standard. There might be other things, but those are the most noticeable.

custom also has a 21" front wheel where a standard has a 19" front wheel. Different risers also on the custom. Other miscellaneous trim items.

So changing stuff like that on a regular 883. Would that not make it a custom? Or just a 883 that has been customed?

It would be an 883 that has been customized. But there's nothing wrong with that. Everyone customizes their bike in one manner or another.

883C has silver engine coating where the 883 has just polished aluminum the C has laced wheels where the 883 has cast 10 spokes the 883C also has dragbars on pullback risers if i remember correctly. the C also has many more color choices than the regular including the ungodly sexy golden glow/black glow custom color for april/may. the C also has the 2 up seat but it is probably crappy cause HD will want you to buy a new one. and of course all of the previously mentioned differences

good hunting
