Default 883 custom versus 1200 custom
Does anyone know the difference between the 2007's 883 custom and the 1200 custom except engine wise? Trying to order an aftermarket windshield for my wife and the place we are ordering from said that the windshield fits the 1200 custom but doesn't show that it fits the 883 custom.

Please help.

In previous Model years I know of no difference except the engines and drive ratios.

According to HD website they are identical. Except the 1200 is 6 lbs lighter then the 883

Chrome or polished rear wheel.
The tank strip.
The seat is better.
Security system.
Big twin horn.

How is the seat better on a 1200 custom from an 883 custom? Also I believe you can get a security system on both.

1. Chrome rocker covers, primary chain cover, right timer cover.
2. Fuel tank trim
3. Polished rear wheel
4. Classic side mounted horn
5. More $$$$
Windshield should be interchangeable.
