Dyan won't really help much, it's pretty much the same suspension as a Sporty, just has the larger engine and 6-speed. Ya just gotta ride the bike. There was a time that I thought a 300 mile weekend was a long ride.
I had a 320 mile round trip adventure myself. Went up to Solvang, CA (Northeast of Santa Barbara) from Los Angeles. Beautiful ride...surf & country roads on the same trip. Weather was great & no wind to complain of.
