Fwd Controls
Hi gang, took my first ride today it was awesome, graduating from an XT 350 enduro to the xl 883. I noticed the shocks were not as forgiving. The bike has fwd controls however I found it difficult to get my left boot out between the shifter and peg, is there an adjustment to make to raise the shifter or do I require thinner boots?

If you have a Clymer or HD Sportster service manual, it provides instructions on adjusting the shifter height.
It took me about 10 minutes to adjust the height, and it was cheaper than buying new boots.
