Has anyone tried using the E3.36 Spark plugs in their bikes? I am thinking about trying them and wanted any input before I spend $20 on plugs. I work for a large chain Auto Parts store and people have been asking about them for their Harleys.
Plugs is plugs. They do the same thing regardless of what they're made of or who makes em. Just my 2 cents. What you'll really wanna look into are ignition parts like coils, wires, and modules. The power getting to the plugs is what will make the difference, not the brand or hype behind them. HDs plugs are cheap and have worked without fail for longer than I've been alive.
It might matter (slightly) if you had a full-on drag bike, but honestly, the difference will really only be in your head on a street-ridden bike.

+1 6o66er I agree. Some hotter plugs may help a domed piston like a shovel's, but on the sporty I'd just stay with stock.[sm=burnout.gif]
One of the simplest ways to improve the combustion in your engine is to index the spark plugs. By indexing the plugs you ensure that the gap is facing the combustion chamber. If the stem of the ground electrode is facing into the chamber, then the spark is shrouded from the majority of the fuel/air mixture. When the stem of the ground electrode is facing away from the chamber, the fuel/air mixture will burn more quickly and completely.
It's not rocket science, but it falls under the efficiency category, along with spin balancing any rotating parts that you can.
