YEHA!!! I passed. Got a 96 on the writen and a "0" on the skills test. Today during the practice we started to practice the corunering part for the first time. At one point I just gave it gass and leaned into it haveing a blast. I was leaning to the left in the turn, at one point in the turn I started to hear some scraping and then I relized that my left heel was rubing the pavment. I held it to the end and straited up. Then the couches where looking at the Biggest grin on my face after I got done and started to laugh. They said I had the bike leaned all the way to the MAX on the left side. They asked me what I learned. I grined even bigger and said. Oh man do I love curves, then they laughed some more and said that is the reason we buy bikes and then said to be alittle more careful next time.. On the skills test I didn't lean that much but wished I did. Took it on a Honda Rebel. The same bike I had in my mind before I got my Sporty. Glad I got the sporty even though by the end I started to like the Rebel.
Congratulations! You are now qualified to ride in an empty parking lot! Take it easy on the Sportster till you get more time and miles under your belt. You'll have a blast! Rebels are fun bikes, too, but it wouldn't have taken you long to want something that could actually sustain highway speeds comfortably.
