Everything worked fine when I put the bars on, I thoought it was a wire in my switch housings. Please help me out!

Sounds like you have a short somewhere. Check the wiring for a damaged wire.

Johnny and Molsenice are right ! Went through this with a buddy of mines scooter. It could be a very small pin hole type pinch or "skinned" place on the wiring when you re-did the wiring for the new "bars". Good luck !

Troubleshooting wiring should be done in a logical way. You can guess and take everything apart and look at stuff until you eventually find it. I would recommend getting a VOM meter from radio shack if you don't already have one. A cheap $30 meter will work fine.

Next you will need a service manual that contains the wiring diagram for your bike.

Then systematically isolate each wire and test it for a short to ground. For example, a typical circuit for your headliight will be a wire from your circuit breaker to the light switch, then to the light and then to ground. When you turn the light switch on it completes the circuit allowing the electricity to flow. In this example you would want to confirm that the first part of the circuit work properly. To do this, remove the light bulb and the fuse, then check check to see if you have a short to ground. If not, then turn the light switch on and check again. If you then have a short to ground, you need to isolate it further by going to the switch. Check the wires for shorts to ground again. This will eventually isolate the short to a single wire. Then you need to follow that wire until you find the location of the short.

If you decide to go this route and need help with where to start, feel free to contact me and I will help point you in the right direction.

I will try this tomorrow. I had to quit working on it for a while. Yea i'm sure I will contact you Springer, I don't know alot about wiring. I thought for sure it was in my right switch housing. I checked and checked again and could not find anything. It was the only one I was working on, the left side was done. I will take more time tomorrow, and see whats up. Thanks for the help guys.

Not much consolation right now I know, but you sure have a good looking bike. I hope Springer can guide you to solving the problem.
