Frankly man, after reading the crap you wrote on 'the wire' about this place, you have some ***** coming back here to post...
That was a joke. Sorry if it offended anyone.. Maybe some should lighten up alittle. Besides, all that crap is ended. It's really too bad it got outta hand, but it was all in fun..
Well, I missedthe "joke" about this forum (thankfully). But back to the topic...damn, that was touching. I'm an Army Vet, from 1987-1993, no combat. U.S. Army Infantry, Mortars. Fort Hood, TX...Korea, with time on the DMZ...Ft. Polk, LA...and Vilseck, Germany. Served my country then, andI'm being paid toserve it today, but in adifferent capacity. Twice in my life, I have taken a solemn oath to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, both foreign and domestic. I haveNEVER taken anoath to "undefend" it!
Yeah, I believe one can protest the war and still support the troops, but a funeral is NOT the place to do it! And these yahoos protesting at funerals don't even PRETEND to support the troops. Hell, part of the reason weserve our nation is to make sure otherscontinue to have the right and freedom to condemn us for doing it! But like I said, a FUNERAL is NOT thetime or place!
Thanks for posting that, Todd! Great video. I'm thinkin' about it.
Yes, thanks for posting. Often we get caught up in our own little worlds and forget about what goes on around us. If you have never seen any of these videos, please take a look at my favorites "strangers on steel horses" and "they ride in respect" Both awesome videos expressing the patriotism shown by total strangers to a total stranger. What makes America great?? It's the guy who is one day working on your car, the lady who is taking care of you at the bank, and the next day there in a far away land defending freedom and democracy. Hell, is this a great country or what.
