Test date is the left column. And the 1200C is actually lighter than the R model on the 04 and up models. True story, I checked my owners manual.

Here are the running order weights of the 2008 Sportster models, as noted in the 2008 catalog:
XL 883 - 583.0
XL 883L - 583.0
XL 883C - 591.0
XL 1200R - 585.0
XL 1200L - 581.0
XL 1200N - 562.0
XL 1200C - 589.0
The Nightster is twenty pounds (or more) lighter than the other models... So.... Depending on the rider, it should post a slightly better time
It would be interesting to weigh our bikes after mods though... I know my aftermarket exhaust (less the unneccessary mounting bracket) weighs significantly less. I am also pretty sure that my D&M breather weighs more than the stock AC.... Add here.... Take away here.... So who knows.

All the fuel injection and computer stuff must weigh more than I thought. An 08 is 14 lbs heavier than my 06. And my 06 weighs less than anything on your chart except for the nightster, which is self explanatory.

Haha you guys need to remember these numbers were posted many years apart with many different years of bikes and with I imagine many different riders and conditions and locations. Some of the numbers don't make a whole lot of sense like a 07 Road King beating a 06 Street Bob but then a 05 Wide Glide beats all of them and has the same time as an 07 Nightster. 
The numbers are still pretty close anyways though but still a little off I think.
