The Nightster is twenty pounds (or more) lighter than the other models... So.... Depending on the rider, it should post a slightly better time
It would be interesting to weigh our bikes after mods though... I know my aftermarket exhaust (less the unneccessary mounting bracket) weighs significantly less. I am also pretty sure that my D&M breather weighs more than the stock AC.... Add here.... Take away here.... So who knows.
My 2007 was 545 dry from the factory... So advantage to you my friend ....
But the stage 1 results with: fuel injection, SERT, dyno (certified tech dyno tune, not just download) Have been proven to produce higher hp and torque than older carbed versions...
If I remember correctly though... You have also done heads and cams on your scoot?... No doubt that thing is a screamer... And we all know it's a wheelie popper as well [8D]
No way a RK is gonna burn a 1200 XL through the quarter...
Bad info IMO.
Lol... No kidding.... Road Kings are great bikes... But fast they are certainly not.... Unless they are the CVO version
It would be nice to see a computerized dyno run of these bikes to get some consistent results...Of course.... That would take all the fun out of it [8D]
I'll tell you what, my buddy has an 07 Springer Softtail Screaming Eagle with Race tuner, V&H Big Radius pipe. His bike has the 110 motor. Holy crap is it fast. My sportster is worked and is dyno'd at 74.6 hp and he can smoke me any day of the week under any circumstance. I have another buddy who has an 06 Fatboy with Straightshots on it and power commander. Again.. its an extremely fast bike.
