Default handlebar question

I would like to raise my handlebars about 4" do to the fact on slow sharp turns my knees hit the grips. I'm 6'4", long legs. I have a 1991 1200 XLH with stock buckhorns.

Question: Do I need a handlebar riser and clamp kit or is there any stock adjustments? Attached is what I found on the web.

thanks.
