Default Another speedometer problem

Rode bike to work last night and had no problems. Went to start bike this morning after work-turned key, back lightfor speedoon-engine light on-everything normal. Started bike and rode about 1/4 mile looked down and it wasnt working. This has happened to me 2x's before 9/06-3/07(and dealer replaced the VSS). Didn't encounter any rain or it wasnt washed,so water or condensation shouldn't be the problem. Pulled over to shut down and restart-nothing still the same except now the turn signals both flash 5x's and the stop. Is this some kind of diagnostic code? Bike is still under warranty so I have the dealer checking it out. Any thoughts? VSS again and if so why is this happening so frequently? Only mod is the run-turn -stop module from HD.

Or maybe I'm cursed as I went to a bike blessing yesterday.

Thanks, Don

Mine is giving me fits also. It was intermittant and I replaced the VSS. It did the exact same thing intermittant. I have been fiddling with plug at the VSS and that seems to be the problem, bad connection, and I cant figure how to make it 100% so far. Someone told me about some type of electrical grease that I need to locate and try.
