Default Headphones while riding???
Now, I'm not sure about the rest of you, but there's no farring equipped with a radio and GPS on my sporty. I wear a fullfaced helment, so I mean - it's kinda like having a farring, but no radio!!! I'll be honest, I can hear traffic through the helmet, but most of what I hear so far has been useless. I'm wondering - are headphones really abad idea? It would be SO BAMF to listen to some Blood for Blood and cruise down 66. =) ...... with my fullfaced helmet on. hehehe. Safety first!

You need all the input you can get to stay alive on a bike...

Personally, I wouldn't wear headphones, but hey, it's your life (or lack thereof)!

i would never recomend doing that.

ever.

as for me, sometimes miles davis is mandatory. the sansa clip (2gb, $59) is a great little mp3 player. easily heard in a 3/4 helmet with shield.

earbuds. as i said, i dont recomend riding with them in.

i ride with them in. its ok though because i'm crazy.

Yeah I also ride with them in, especially on those long rides. I would tell anybody not to, but I have to have something to listen.

That's where I was confused.

Maybe I'll get some speakers and carry the whole damn set in my bag. That way it'll be a little surround soundy.
