Girl rides an '07 1200 Low. Currently has the stock bar set-up, but needs some pull back. Dealer says any change requires new cables, but I usually tend not to believe them. Wanted some ideas from anyone here that may have done something similar. Could we use 4" pullback risers? I was thinking about some mini apes, but then we would have to change out cables. Just need some ideas. THANKS!!!
The worst case is clutch cable and brake line. If you go with Drag Specialties, it shouldn't cost over a hundred.
Very easy to do those change outs. The throttle cables may need to be routed around the outside of the forks and the wiring
should have enough excess. Really not a big deal and the stealership will f##k ya like a fat goose if you have them do it.
