I think the Ramflo looks pretty cool. I am thinking about an A/C change from the SE setup. Also getting tired of the blowby and might put the cross over tube like they suggest. Tim
No I have not changed the AC setup yet, but will proabally go with the Ramflo. Saw a post on someone who tapped into the the top of the breather bolts, inside the AC cover, then ran rubber lines outside the AC to a filter. He tapped a set screw into the end of the breather bolt to seal it. This way it functioned as a crossover but was concealed. I looked for the site but could not find it. Tim
I was thinking of tapping the bolts myself, kinda tired of the oil film.
My thoughts were to shorten the tubes a little and tap into the front and run lines to the bottom of the frame.
Its not so bad until I'm on the freeway, then it makes the list of things that suck.
If and when I do I'll let you know how it works out.
Thanks for the info. I called Trak- Tek today and Chris said the Ramflo 400 should be here today or tomorrow as the units have been on back order for some time. I will let ya'll know what happens. Tim
Well I ordered it yesterday! Suppose to handle 400cfm. Don't think my Sporty will have any problems! When I get it on I will post some pics and tell ya'll how it went. Chris was real helpful over the phone with info and answers. Apparently nice folk to deal with. Tim
Installed the Ramflo and could not be happier. Great looking AC. You can hear it sucking air as you go! No more oily mess down the side of the bike either. I vented the breather tube to the atmosphere. Bike is filthy but when I clean it I'll post some pics. Tim
