I love my medium low rest, but make sure you get the removable frame.
You will go nuts with trying to get off your bike and swinging your leg into the sissy bar. You might even fall over.
Im 5' 8 and man I hate that.

I have the HD low, but if you prefer lower, then get the HD med. low
The mini ones are useless in my opinion and may not work with your seat.
I would only suggest detachables if you plan on swapping often. If not, you
may consider rigid uprights as they allow for more throwover saddlebag options.

If you want your wife to be comfortable get the Low. I have the med. low on my detachable setup and it hits my wife's lower back and she complains its not high enough so she ends up leaning fwd. more than against it.

I upgraded to the HD pillow-top seat and the wife says the low/medium (not sure which I have) backrest is too low on her back now. I will upgrade to the tall sissy-bar upright and matching pillow-top pad when $$$ becomes available.

Had the med low but switched to the tall one. Gives more options when strapping stuff on the rack and for tour bags - my tombstone fits it perfect. Plus when I'm solo and at a rest stop I can put the stand down and just lay right back into it myself - damn near fell asleep like that one day.
