odd sound
I have a 07 883C. I went to start up my bike on Saturday,hit the on switch and letthe fuel pump kick in like normal before hitting the start button. But a little bit after pump started up it started making a different sound then normal. The only way I can describe it is thatit sounded a little bit likea high pitched squeel of ajet engine. After it was done I started it up and rode it for a while everything seemed normal. I got it up to work and let it sit for a couple of hours then went to start it up and heard the same sound. Anyone have any idea what it could be or is this normal?

Mine makes the same hum thru it's full cycle, justa steady hum, no high pitch wine. There have been some issues with the pumps, I wonder if it's on the way out. I would swing by the dealer and let them listen to it, maybe they can order one so your not off the road too long.
