Hey all,
\\; I'm in the market for a 883 Custom (vivid black) and am wondering what a decent OTD price is. \\; I stopped at a local Harley shop and was informed that an '08 retails in the mid to high 7's, but the OTD price would be the high 9's to low 10's.
\\; Does that sound about right? \\; What are some other OTDs quoted/received out there? \\; If it helps, I'm in the SE Texas area. \\; Thanks all!

PS - Cool forum, btw. \\; I know this is my first post, but I'm immediately going to introduce myself after this post (I want to be able to link this thread).
My '07 883C w/ security system \\;was just under 10,000 OTD - I got the deal to knock out about $300 (their "fright" charges), but that's about \\;all they would budge \\;- they basically were selling them within a day or two of getting them at the shop at the time so they didn't really need to make a deal... \\; I'm in Boise, ID.
I think low 9 to high 10 is about $1000 to high to start with, of course a lot will depend on options and the time of year. \\; I got my 2008 XL883C in December for $7900 OTD. \\; No dealer installed options, just a basic xl883c \\; Buckminn's Harley Davidson, Xenia OH.

+1. \\; I only paid about $10500 or so for my 1200n OTD. \\; Are you getting any add ons?
11,050 out the door on my 1200C, and my dealer would not budge either. \\; Just gave me a free half helmet. \\; \\; Low 10's I think would be high for an 883C.
To me, low 10s OTD seems right. I live in Southern California so bikes here are expensive. \\;I saw the 883s going for about 10 OTD here. So other parts of the country, you should be able to get it under that. Good luck man!
