Here's my question. \\; DK has 2 1/2" pullback risers that supposedly will take the stock top clam from an 883C. \\; Will this be too short and make the speedo hit the tank? \\; They also have 3 3/4" straight risers that take the stock clamp. \\; Clearance shouldn't be an issue with the straight but I think my mini apes will look better with the shorter riser. \\; What's the shortest pull back any ons put on an 883C?
Before you shop for any riser, I have to tell you the 883C stock riser clamp has different mounting offset than any other harley, you may run into problem using the same speedo mount/clamp.
That's another thing I am afraid of. \\; I know it's an odd riser/clamp design. \\; According to Denis Kirk, these will take the stock clamp. \\; I did go to the Drag Specialties site and their listing says they will not work with the 883C. \\; I guess if I want to change them I will need a new top clamp and alternate speedo mount as well. \\; Still, what is the shortest pullback I can put on, or If going with a straight riser, what are my speedo mounting options using my current speedo and indicator lamps?
