I have personal experience with several slip-on mufflers.... here are my opinions based strictly on sound....Cycle Shacks- not a bad sound, a little "tinny" at first, probably the best you'll do for a very low price.... Rush- beautiful, deep tone, not overly loud in my opinion, one of your better choices if you can afford them..... Python- loud under heavy throttle, not much volume at idle or cruising speeds, for the price there are better options..... Vance &\\; Hines- from a sound standpoint these are my favorites, loud, deep rumble, but still have a little "crackle" to them when you open the throttle, very loud in my opinion, idles loud, accelerates loud, cruises loud.

I've got D&D slip-ons, www.dandexhaust.com. Great sound, not tinny. Loud enough to make car alarms chirp when you start your bike next to them in the parking lot, not so loud that the neighbors hire a hit man.
