My wife is considering moving to a Heritage. \\; She has a 2007 1200 low sportster with 2000 miles on it. \\; It has a Memphis Shade windshield with Harley frame and quick release. It also has detachable Sissy bar and luggage rack. \\; It also has engine guard and Kuryakyn L.E.D. fast blinking tail lights. \\; It also has a Sundowner and stock seat. \\; It is two tone Black and White.
It is in great shape but aren't they all. \\; In ideas of price will be appreciated. \\; I am going to try and sell it myself instead of trading a dealer.
 \\;
Thanks  \\;
I traded mine on a Metric that I love and mine , got 6500 \\; 6k miles there are a ton of sportys in the classified for sale. I basically had the same equip as hers and took it all off before trade appraisal.
Thank you everyone for your replies. \\; I think you all are right. \\; \\; Bike needs to be between 8-9 K to make me somewhat happy. \\; I live on a busy hwy and have had good luck selling things in the yard. \\; I sold a 36 foot motorhome two years ago when the gas started going up so I guess I can sell this bike. \\; Thanks again.
See what they would give for trade in , you might be surprised. going from a sportster to heritage.
remember too you only pay taxes on the difference of trade in and new bike.
I agree with the others that you should sell all the accessories on EBay. I would not hold my breath though to get $8,000 for the bike as dealers are selling used 2007's around here for around $7500 or less. Best of luck and try to see what they would do in trade in
