Noticed my 2002 1200 is "weeping" oil. Seems to be comming from a bolt/plug located beween the pushrod covers in the lower split casing. Looks to be a large allen head plug.
What purpose does that thing serve? Is it holding something or just a plug?
Wondering if I can just torque it down a bit to stop the leak.....
Pretty sure it is not the air filter oil fart thing.
Been there done that. No oil above. Just in that holler'd out area by the plug...
Also, I noticed that infront of the "plug"... it seems to be milled, like a flow channel or something....?

I can't help you with your leak but the link you are trying to use for your Sig pic is incorrect. You need the Direct link from Photobucket. It should start with http://i not http://s.
