I'm new to the forum and was wanting to know if anyone has put stock bagger air shocks on your bike and did it work and look ok. My wife is pregnant and was wanting them for her so she can ride longer with me. Any info or pictures of these would be great.
Hey Mike, Welcome first of all. I have the shorter 11 3/4" bagger air shocks with a 1" lowering kit on my 1200N. IMO they are much better than stock for me at 225lbs. I run them with no air in them and they haven't bottomed out yet. I had my stock shocks on the max preload setting and they bottomed fairly often.
I don't think they would work very well for someone much lighter than me though. Are you wanting them to ride 2-up w/ your wife or for her on her own bike? If 2-up they would probably be perfect. Here's a couple pics of them on my bike:
elvis what kind of pipes are those and i am also interested in the speedo mount, that would be badass. your mirrors are a nice touch too. id also like to know more about these bagger air shocks... what year and where did u get them ? cost ?
guess I'm a little confused about the air shock set up. Can they be filled individually or do they have to be hooked up together and filled or how in the crap would I hook them up on a nightster?
