Default handlebars on nightster question...

I'm thinking about putting on flanders 29" broomsticks on my nightster. I want at least 6" or 8" risers. Am I going to have to change my cables if i do this?

no you wont but yo will have to un bend the brake line a bit. i have 10" apes on mine and used all stock cables. i just straightend out the brake line and re routed the throttle and idle but you wont have to. conside it this way stock bars have about 4 or 5" rise plus 2" risers. so 6-7" 6" riseres will be the same and 8 will only be slightly higher so manipulation of brake line will be minimal.

I had the 29's on my N this spring, but I used the stock risers. I would think that with 6" risers you would be approximating the stock setup and the cables should reach. I know I had plenty of extra to tuck in when I had mine.
