Is this common????
New to the forum and have found loads of information. I thank everyone for that. I have a 08 883C just changed oil and gearcase fluid last night. Everything went well I took it out for a ride to make sure nothing leaks and I have a little seepage coming from the bottom of the clutch inspection cover. I'll wipe if off and it doesn't seep when its parked. I changed the gearcase fluid according to what it says in the owners manual. I did remove the primary cover to inspect the clutch and chain. I did discover that it is easier to put fluid back into the primary through the chain inspection cover. I was wondering if the seepage will stop after putting a few more miles on the bike and everything seals back up, or will I need to address this to the dealer when I take it in for the 1K service in a few days?

I'd double check the gasket, lotsa people report trouble with it not being seated properly. Worst case just replace it. Also might wanna check the torque on the bolts, to make sure they're evenly tightened and to specs...

I checked all of the bolts and torqued them to specs. I'll agree the gasket is probably a little out of line. I take it to the dealer in a few days for a 1k service. I'll let them look at it and get it fixed.
