I hope this is ok for this section of the forum, so if it's not, whoever makes that decision, please let me know the proper way to do it.
Here's the deal. I've been in contact with the guys over at Licks, and I've been able to arrange a "group buy" to get the solo bags for cheaper than retail. What I'd do is order them myself, and they'd ship them to me, and I would in turn ship them out to you. I need to get 15 bag orders together, well actually just 14 since I'll be getting one myself, which would get us all bags for 170 each including all shipping and paypal fees. Which would be a savings of about $40 each (assuming an individual bag price of 199 plus 10 to ship).
Also included in the price of each bag would be about $5 bucks that would go towards my bag, so I would actually end up paying about $95 for my bag, which I'd like to think is fair for putting it all together and managing getting everyone's bag shipped out to them. I'm not making anything extra on this, other than the lesser amount of the bag.
Since we need to do it in one order, each person who wanted one would pay me, then I would buy the bags and ship them to you when they arrive. (this will also enable us to avoid tax). I'll give everyone my address at home and work so you can hunt me down and slash my tires if I try and pull a fast one, which I wont. But I'll need to be paid before we put the order in, because I dont have the cash to float it.
But before I do all this, just wanted to get an interest level. Also, if there's an interest of more than 15, then perhaps we can get it a bit cheaper. Thoughts?

I just got through doing one of these on xlforum.net We had 30+ people and got a deeper discount than you posted. There were some people from here who also bought so it might take a little while to get 15. Its a super bag so don't give up on getting the numbers. I would never have bought it at retail.
I'm interested. Looks like an iteresting concept and they're nice looking. But how much can you really store in them? It doesn't look like you could fit a binder or folder? How much can you really fit?
i think you can fit a decent amount of stuff in them. 14x10x4 isnt bad, plus the goal with this bag is to keep the bike streamlined, while at least adding some storage space.
i may be interested, ive been looking at getting one..so add me for now. and yea the xlforums got them at $150 a bag and also was shipped directly to them.. but hey $40 saving is better than nothing..
