Last night on my 08 Nightster, the right blinker started coming on. I would turn it off and in a few minutes it would come again. Then it got to where I could not turn it off unless I pushed the left blinker which would activate the emergency blinkers. Now I cant get the right blinker on at all unless I turn the key off and back on. When I do this, the right blinker comes on till I hit the right blinker switch. This turns it off but it will not come back on till I turn the key off again. ANYONE KNOW WHAT IS WRONG????
Thanks guys but what is a tssm and were is it located. I could prob do this myself?
TSM=turn signal module, TSSM=turn signal & security module (if equipped with factory alarm)
Takes two minutes to install but no way is a dealer going to give you one to change yourself.
Best bet is to call the dealer, they should get you in right away as it is a SAFETY issue and have you back on the road within an hour.
My looser dealer tried to blame it on my wiring from when I changed the bars but I persisted until they tried one just to shut me up, what do ya know it was the TSSM and not my wiring after all.
