I just pull the fill plug and turn mine upside-down and shake it until nothing else runs out. You have to have a good gas cap though.

Will227457: LOL I can't speak for a lot of people who may have thought this, but I'll speak for myself when I say I agree with you! There are some subjects like "how do I take my wheel off and bleed my brakes?" or "where do I check the electrolyte level on my AGM battery?" when I know darn well they are not using a service manual and to give advice on "how-to" may kill them. Even changing the oil is "so basic"-unless done incorrectly, then you have problems. My peeve is people who have problems with 2004 and up bikes but don't list DTC's or not in their original thread! Sundog: ROFLMAO! My cap leaks when I do this; it's vented and I have girlie arms! Sorry to digress from the original thread but thought W made a good observe.

Or the obvious necessary info like this one that fails to list the year of bike. They don't all drain the same way folks.
