First of all...josephGarcia.. That is a dope a$$ bike! Anyways, just this last weekend I Picked up a quart of Olive Pearl Denim for my 08 Nightster. Bought it at My Harley Davidson Dealership. It Cost $98 a quart and an extra $45 for the activator. That it! Clear coats not required for Denim from what I have been told. One quart is plenty of paint. I only bought it for a new fender i'm having installed.
that is WAY OVER KILL!!!!! Theres a Custom Paint shop just for bikes here where i live. http://www.929customs.com/paint.html They were going to strip my tank "4.5 gallon off a 2007 sportster. Repaint it all Black and clear coat for $250. I willing to bet he'd do it ALOT cheaper. Call and ask for doug
$250 is pretty cheap for that amount of work. If he'd do it for a lot cheaper than that, or even cheaper, he's whoring himself out.
here is a video from the kustom shop showing how to spray it...easy to do, we have painted a few minitrucks with awesome results...the v-dub is the color i expermented with, and that is the flat clear...well actually they call it a 30 degree satin.
