Default Horn relocation on a FI 883
Is it possible to relocate the horn on the FI sportsters from between the frame to the side of the engine? If so what all is needed?

Harley makes a relocation kit that does what you are wanting to do, and at the same time it gives you a deeper sounding horn instead of the beep - beep. I think the price for the kit is around $90, and includes everything you will need.

Thanks. I will run over to one of the local dealers this weekend. You wouldn't happen to know the part number would you?

I got a custom horn cover for my birthday and its too nice not to put it on the bike.

Do you know if the Premium Air Horn kit will mount on an 883? The part number is 69422-05 and it says it Fits '04-later XL1200 Custom models. It doesn't mention the 883????

I don't see why it wouldn't. Looks like just the 1200C takes the special mount, jbg

Cool! I scored one on eBay for $60. I just need the install kit now and then I can scare the CRAP out of anyone trying to ignore my LOUD pipes!
