Just change my stock exhaust and put V&H Slip ons
man,what a change,dogs are running,cagers looking around
I love the sound!
Did you do anything else other then put the muffs on? I have a 2009 883c and would love to put the V&Hs slip-ons on my bike but my knowledge of re-mapping, re-jetting, etc, etc is little to none. I would like to just put the pipes on and ride with out the hassle of engine mods. Im still a little unclear if this is possible to do or not. Im not really into the whole performance parts deal. I just like the looks and sound of the V&Hs slip-ons.

If all you are changing is the exhaust, then you don't need to do anything else.
Re-jetting is only for carbureted engines, you have fuel-injection so the procedure is a little different if you decide to go further. You have two choices, have the dealer re-map your efi controller or go with a different fuel management system such as a power commander which you can order from fuel-moto pre-mapped. Again, you would only need to do this if you are also changing to a high-flow air intake in addition to slip-ons.
I'm sure two hours labor is the book charge, but that is waaaayyy longer than it actually takes.
