Default Swingarm?

Just curious if anyone has replaced their swingarm out for say a chrome one? Obviously the nightster guys won't but how about some of the Custom guys? Anyone? Just didn't know how involved it is towards the pivot bolt area.

I just changed mine, to put the 250 tire kit on. It is not too hard at all to take the swing arm off and replace it.

I ahd the dealer do mine. They put the chrome one on.It took them 2 weeks though. They had to order a new bushing for the pivot. And it took 2 weeks to get it.I wasn't happy. They didn't tell me this,of course, until they already had the bike. But it does look good

the dealer over here always has ridiculous turn around times. my buddy took in his 08 anniversary sporty (for the third time), took them three weeks to call him back and tell him it was ready... by that time he'd already traded it in for an 09 Fatbob.. guess someone forgot to pass word to parts and service, haha.

kahaone, how long did it take to do the whole thing?

yea I'm not worried about the dealer, I'm an auto tech so changing it shouldn't be too much of a deal. How does that 250 kit work for ya? I can only imagine that it's a few bucks.
