First off hello to all, just joined the group and just bought the 883 Iron and I have to say I love this thing! What a fun bike, I'll admit it - too cold still to do any real riding so can't wait for warmer days to get here (why freeze riding when I have a perfectly good heater in the car?). Saw it on line and had to go see it in person, once I saw it I was hooked. Now I just have to figure out what is the widest tire I can stick back there without going to a wide tire kit. I mean I'll be happy with a 180 or even a 170 just want a little more meat than the 150 on it. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Oh btw, 1200 conversion is looking really good.

Too cold? The last few days in VA have been the best riding weather in months. I saw more bikes out this weekend than I've seen since September. A lot of them weren't even wearing jackets. Get out there and enjoy yourself!
Welcome to the forum, and congrats on the new bike. My friend just bought an iron too. I'd like to see some pics with your 1200 conversion completed.

Thanksfor the advice on the tire size I'll definitely be looking at that when time comes to replace the rubber. Didn't do much riding because I work nights and most of the day was spent sleeping, bike is back at the shop getting forward controls put on. When I get her back it will be time to deefinitely start putting the miles on.
Best lookin bike the MC has come out with since the night train. I'd almost go trade my NT for one. I don't give a damn about the size. what a sweet bike. Looks better than the nightster IMHO.
Very nice.
I'd love to see some photos of anybody thats picked one up yet.
