sporty buy back
As I mentioned before, a good friend of mine bought a Sportster a couple years ago and has put a bunch of miles on it.
He traded in for a new bike, and the MSRP trade in he received was more than he paid for the Sportster when new.
If someone doesn't think it's a good factory deal let them take a 2 or 3 years old bike, with 30,000+ miles on it, and see if they can sell it to a private party for it's original MSRP.
But if someone paid higher than MSRP, financed the bike at a higher rate and ended in debt for $15,000 on a bike that could have been purchased for $10,000 cash, and then spent a bunch of money for accessories that's their own fault and of course they won't get all that money back.
