Polishing fork sliders

as said use air craft stripper that will get it off

On rotors I do them flat on a piece of wood with screw to keep it from spinning:

finished:

doing my cafe lowers:
i use a doll rod to hold the rod with my knees to make polishing easier as i am using the sand paper:

done:

I use a buffing wheel when i polish going though about 8 roughes and 4 diffrent wheels, i use a stripper then go though the sanding from 400 - 2000 when i turn it on my wheels i use WD-40 to lube the item so that it does not burn doing this you can get a almost chrome finish

to protect the polised area i use a good wax... if i do a swing arm or something that will see alot of moisture i will use a poly ultra clear powder coat on it
these are just regular angle brackets from home depot that i polished for fog light brackets for my brother... these hve been powdercoated clear

polish is all about taking your time and letting the paper/polish do the work!
