Sidekick seat more comfortable?
I want to get a more comfortable seat for both me and the gf but it has to fit with the mini rail sissy bar I just put on. The Sidekick doesn't look like it has more padding for the rider so I wanted to see if anyone out there has any suggestions that woudl fit with my backrest. I'd like to ride for longer than 30 min without wanting to stand straight up to give my rear a break!

Was at the dealer looking at seats last fall and they let us try a couple out. We didn't get out of the parking lot before the wife said turnaround. She said even the badlander was more comfortable than the sidekick. The sundowner was the most comfortable for passenger and rider and I found the rallyrunner was more comfortable for me than stock but the wife said it was no better if not worse for the passenger than the stock seat. Hope this helps, I have a HD brand sissybar, the mid height one with a rack and the sundowner fits but the screws from where the backrest/rack attach to the sideplates rub the seat. Not a very good design IMO when all pieces are HD brand and there is clearance issues. Hope this helps.

Thanks Flatlander. That does help. I just spoke with the dealership and they told me I couldn't put a larger seat on the bike with the short rail sissy bar. I guess I'm SOL unless I buy a new/taller backrest.
