it did for me air powered cuttin wheel. i chopped only about 6" off mine, i see alota ppl cuttin off 3/4 of there fender struts and the fender, i think that looks cool too, i did repaint after i chopped.
I used Dremmel cut off wheels to do mine. You'll need 4-5 reinforced cut off wheels. I marked off the cut several times with Duct tape until I was happy with it and clamped it in a vise and sawed it off. I have also heard of people using a jigsaw with a metal cutting blade.
sweet ride fanda! using the dremel did you have to smooth it out after the cut with sand paper or take the grinder to it before painting or did the dremel make it that clean?
