not being able to see what your bike would look and feel like with different handle bar setups unless you buy them. i'm thinking of putting these bars on (attached) and i'm dying to see what they'd look/feel like on my bike. what do you guys think? that's all, just wanted to voice my frustration.

I completely agree w/ you. I've been dying to try out the Roland Sands Vintage 12" bars before taking the plunge.

Why ask. Why not find someone that has these bars on a bike like yours and ask if you can sit it. I am not proud, if I see something I like I talk to the owner and ask if I can sit it, Never have been turned down and in many cases have been invited to take a seat, Never turned someone down either. Heck, since I put the mini floorboards on my fxdl had a lot of people ask to sit it.

Pic attached....
i've always liked those bars too, not sure how they'd feel were the grips are though with that slope but see that's my exact point. trust me VET, if i see someone with them you bet i'm gonna ask them for a try, just haven't seen them yet. i did see this bike on the net though which is what made me fall in love with them, not to mention those blue wheels......
Had an old yamaha, yea, I know, back in 81. It had what they call a pistol grip handle bars. Had to be the most comphy bars I ever rode. Take both hands and put them a little short of arms length, point both thumbs strait up. Turn them in just a little, That's were the grips were. It was like driving a car. I got a set of miny ape's for the H.D. it's close, but no cigar. I may build my own soon. Might just twist up the one's I got. Best of luck.............HOLLYWOOD

they look like clubmans but not angled as harshly.
are you going to mount them upside down or right side up? seems like they would feel like slightly angled drag bars on small risers. or wide angled clipons if they are inverted
I feel your pain man, nothing worse then spending money and putting the work into switching everything out to realize you don't like your bars or how they sit.
