Ok, UPS just delivered my Road King air shocks. I know that some of you who have done this has mentioned using a spacer. What did you use for a spacer? How many will I need? Do they go on the top and bottom, or, just one end? Thanks, Chuck
Just use some thick washers, top and bottom, just enough to clear things on the side,do left and right the same, remember to check belt adjustment when you are done

Thanks Doc. I was going to check with the hardware store and see if I can find some thick, small outside diameter flat washers that way I don't a bunch of skinny flat washers showing. Mine just came with plugs in the air shock. What is the best way to put valves in? Fill each shock at one time, or, make the kit so that they are both filled simultaneously? Thanks again, Chuck
I just took both the shocks out of their box and they look brand spankin new.. There is still the paint markings inside the mounting holes. Not one flaw. How Lucky.. They are part # 54565-97c. I just found a piece of paper left in from dealer and it said only 2 miles on shocks, 370$.. Good thing the guy at the HD store didn't see that note. 85 bucks including shipping.
