I just noticed that my horn is not working, thank god the finger is still functional,LOL. All the other electrical works fine lights, blinker speedo all function. Dont really know what to check at this point is anything else hooked in with it? is there a fuse?
I've had that happen both on my Fat Boy and on my S.G., but it's only ever happened after I got caught in a good rain storm. Typically it only does this for a day or two, and after it dries out (I'm guessing) it starts working again.
I think I've only used mine twice in 3 years and over 25k but water never seems to affect it. You might have a little corrosion on the contacts. You can also just take a couple wires and a 12v batt. and touch the contact posts with the batt. to see if it blows and if it does then the problem is in the switch.
My horn stopped working in mid beep. (just had the little disc horn between the forks). Turned out that the little clip on the horn where the electrical connects just broke.
Was a good thing. I replaced with a car horn. Don't sound like the little "roadrunner" anymore.
I bught a freeway blaster low tone for my sportster at Canadian Tire, around $40, its louder than stock. The last time my horn did not work, I shot some electrical contact cleaner into the switch and it fixed it, now I shhot electrical contact cleaner into all the switches at least once a year. I've known people to buy the low tone blaster for as little as $15 at Princess Auto. It fit behind the cowbell no problem.

I have never used my horn. Ever. It's not as loud as the pipes, and my hand' already on the throttle, so i usually just rev in place of a horn since the stock horn is crap.
I dont use a horn much either except on occasion when cruisen by a lil sweety on the sidewalk, however I would like to get it fixed to pass inspection. I also noticed The rear blinker lights dont stay lit up like the front, they will flash but dont stay on. I figure there must be some sort of electrical connection between the 2 issues but not sure what.

unless you have the run/stop/turn module on your bike the rear blinkers only work when turning...
