Fuel Injecton Question
My dad has an 06 Super Glide and he recently bought some Bub Straightaways. Well now hes thinking about the heavy breather. He went and priced it today and they quoted him a little over 600 bucks. I asked him what the hell for. He said that it was for the heavy breather and a power commander plus labor. With that the price made sense. But I thought the service guys could do some remapping and he wouldnt have to buy any kind of EFI managment systems. Their saying he has to but the power commander so he can do any kind of adjusting. Are they right? I know one of you guys knows what supposed to go down. Appreciate the help.

A while back there was a flash available for the stock ECM. I'm hearing that's not around anymore. Personally - I believe you're better off with a PCIII or SERT in case you want to make any adjustments / upgrades later that will affect your fuel mixture.
I've been doing my homework on this because my EFI Sportie is about to undergo the Stage 1 tax as soon as I can save a few dollars.

Agreed - at least go with the PCIII so that it's flexible later on. If you really want to get into it, go for the TTS Mastertune - I've got one on the way, and have read nothing but good about it on the site, if you're into the fine-tuning of bikes...
